We needed some cheap term life insurance, I had my husband running round the house like a headless chicken because it was just such a stressful time, we had no clue and we were clueless about the Internet. Anyway, my husband Jim has a check list of all the policies this company had to have. Anyway we managed to find one but it was quite a while away what was we going to do?

It worked out okay in the end as one of our mates had a van we could borrow! We got in the van and drove all the way to where this company was based, I demanded that all the policies were legit because we had to travel a long way in that little van. The woman replied "It's not our fault if the policies aren't legit". That is when my husband lost it!

"We have had to travel all this way" he yelled at the woman. The desk clerk called the manager and the manager agreed to pay the travel costs, in return that we went with the company. So we agreed and all the policies were sorted out and everything worked out fine.

Because we had to travel so far and it had gotten dark, Jim didn't want to drive in the dark neither did I so we decided to get a hotel. It wasn't really a 5 star one but it did the job. It had a bed a toilet and a kettle for that morning cup of tea we always need. We didn't take much to the resturant in the hotel so we decided to get a chinese take away which was actually really nice.

The next day came and we drove back home, it was a really, really long drive and when we got back we was both just so tired all we did was sleep. In the end it worked out well though because we both got an interesting day out, our travel costs covered for us and we got to join a really good company even if it didn't seem to good in the first place!
